As an oil painter, Deborah Gersony strives to capture a sense of stillness and the interplay of light and detail that is so easily missed in the bustle of day-to-day life.

Gersony is a member of many artistic societies including Oil Painters of America (Associate Member), National Oil and Acrylic Painters of America and the American Artist Professional League (Elected Artist Member, Board Member:Treasurer and Co-Director of the GNE). Her work has been accepted into the top 100 Finalist PleinAir Salon for February and August 2023, and March 2024, Realism on the Hudson (2023 and 2024), the 43rd and 44th Juried Art Shows at the Ridgewood Art Institute.
